Now, 2 EASY ways to Consign

It’s Easy to be a Consignor! Sign up by calling 829-4888 or email twiceasnicesale@gmail.com for a Consignor Form!

Option #1: Bag and Drop
Bag up your items and drop them off at the Civic Center, we do all the work! Come back after the show and pick up your proceeds! You collect 50% commission!

Option #2: Tag and Drop
Tag your items and drop them off at the Civic Center, hung and ready to go! Come back after the show and pick up your proceeds! You collect 60% commission!

Shopper Questions

Q. How often do you have a sale?
A. Twice a year. The spring/summer sale is held around May and the fall/winter sale is usually held in September.

Q. Where is the sale located?
A. Both sales are held at the Diboll Civic Center.

Q. Where do we park and is there plenty of parking spaces available?
A. The sale location is at the Civic Center which offers great FREE parking.

Q. What forms of payment do you accept at the sale?
A. You can only pay by Cash at the Twice as Nice Consigment Sales.

Q. Do I have to be a consignor to shop?
A. No, anyone can shop during our public sale. If you do choose to consign you get to shop before the public shops.

Q. Are children allowed during the public sale?
A. Yes, but it can get very crowded. We recommend all children be supervised by an adult at all times.

Q. Do you have dressing rooms?
A. We don’t have dressing rooms. There are restrooms available but we ask that you see a worker before taking items to the restrooms.

Consignor Questions

Q. Who can consign with Twice as Nice?
A. Anyone can consign their children's and maternity items with us. You must bring a minimum of 15 items. These items must be items that are current styles and in gently used or better condition.

Q. What percentage of the sales do I receive?
A. Consigners will receive 60% of their sales. There will be a $15.00 Facility Fee that will also be deducted from the sales amount.

Q. How do I sign up to consign?
A. Sign-up using the sign-up form from the bottom of the home-page or email twiceasnicesale@gmail.com and request a sign-up form.

Q. Do consignors get to shop before the public shops?
A. Yes, consignors get to shop on the Friday night at 5:00 – 9:00 before the public sale starts on Saturday. You will receive a consignor pass at drop off and you must present that pass at the door before entering.

Q. Are children allowed at the presale?
A. Children under 12 years old are not allowed at the presales. Children 12 and over are allowed but they must have a consignor pass to enter the sale. The building can become crowded and we are limited on the amount of space that is available for isles, exits and checking out.

Q. Who prices the items I bring for consignment?
A. You set your own prices. They must be in whole $1.00 increments. Please do not put .25 or .50 cent increments. Those items priced incorrectly will not be accepted. We do have a service that will price your items for you. You will receive 50% of your sales if you choose to use our pricing service. Minimum price of an item is $2.00. Please group items that would be less together to create an outfit or grouping.

Q. How much time should I allow for drop-off?
A. It all depends on when you bring your items and how many items you bring. We will inspect all the items. If you wait till the last day you will probably have to wait longer than you would if you come on days 1 or 2. A typical wait is around 30 minutes. You can also schedule an appointment as long as you have at least 75 items.

Q. When and where do I drop off my items?
A. You will drop off your items at the Diboll Civic Center.

Q. Do you limit the number of any of the items that I may bring?
A. You can bring as many items as you wish but we do have a limit on certain items. Shoes have a limit of 10 pairs. Stuffed animals are limited to 6 and they must be current children's popular characters such as Barney, Elmo, Mickey Mouse, etc. Matenity items also have a limit of 10.

Q. Can I bring more items at a later date?
A. Only if it is during our normal drop-off times. Once the sale starts we usually don’t take in any more items. If we are running low on items that you intended to bring, we may call you to bring those items.

Q. When do I pick up my unsold items?
A. Items need to be picked up on the Sunday following the public sale.

Q. What if I can't make it during the pick-up time?
A. You may have someone else pick your items up, but we need to know at drop-off who will be picking your items up. Items not picked up will be donated to charity.

Q. Do I have to sort through the racks to find my unsold items?
A. No, everything will be sorted in consignor number order. Our volunteers will help you in getting your items.

Q. How long does it take to receive my proceeds?
A. Your proceeds will be ready at pick-up! If, you are donating all your left over items, you can still pick-up your proceeds on Sunday after the show.

Q. Will I know what items have sold?
A. You will recieve the cards for the items that sold along with a printout with the sale price and quantity of items that sold at that price.

Q. Where can I find safety pins and hangers?
A. Wal-Mart, Target, Kmart and any “dollar” store will usually have all these items. Most dry cleaners will sell their hangers. The tags will be provided with your Consignor Package at the time of sign-up.

Q. What items are you accepting?
A. We accept anything related to babies, children or maternity. Boys and girls sizes preemie to size 20. The clothing must be current season. Other great items are toys, books, videos, strollers, baby equipment, nursery items, large play equipment, bedding, cribs, changing tables, etc.

Q. What about shoes?
A. Yes, please bring only your best shoes. Shoes will sell if they are in great condition but they do not sell it they are showing wear. Please zip tie shoes together or rubber band them if they don't have holes to zip tie. If you bring your shoes in a box, please put a tag on both the shoes and the box incase the shoes get separated from the box. There is a limit of 10 pairs of shoes.

Q. Do stuffed animal sell?
A. They do not sell very good but we do accept current children's popular characters such as Barney, Elmo, Mickey Mouse, etc. Limit of 6.

Misc Question

Q. Can I bring a stroller to the presale?
A. Yes. However, due to the number of people shopping at our sale, it may be easier to bring a laundry basket to carry your bargains in (no non-see-through bags please). Also, we reserve the right to inspect your stroller and it's contents as you leave the building.

How to be a Twice as Nice Consignor

Being a TAN consignor is both easy and profitable. All you need to do is follow these simple steps.

You are going to love our easy to follow procedures and policy's.

1. Reserve your consignor number by printing off our form from our website, or filling out the form on the website.
2. Choose and prepare your items you would like to sell.
3. Bring your items on your chosen drop off day during our scheduled delivery times.
4. Enjoy shopping at the consignor-only pre-sale!
5. After the sale, pick up your unsold items during our scheduled pick up times or leave them for charity.
6. Enjoy the proceeds from your sale!

Drop- Off Instructions

Drop off Days for the Spring/Summer Show will be Wednesday May 13th and Thursday May 14th.

We try to make dropping off your items as quick and painless as possible. Here are a few guidelines to follow when bringing your items to drop-off:

Bring a minimum of 15 items to consign.

Don't wait until the last day to drop-off your items. The lines tend to be longer on the last day.

If you have more than 75 items you need to schedule an appointment and avoid the long lines.

Order your clothes by size and sex. It will make it easier to put them on the sale racks.

Avoid bringing small children to drop-off. Space is limited and it can get very congested. (Children are allowed.)

Make sure you follow the tagging instructions. Check each tag to make sure you have included your consignor number.

Put your name and consignor number on any baskets and rolling racks that you bring. We have baskets and racks that probably look just like yours.

You MUST sign a contract before you give us your items and you MUST have an inventory sheet to turn in with your items.

Make sure the information we have on file for you is correct.

If you will not be picking up your items or check on pick-up day and would like for us to mail your check, we will need a self-addressed stamped envelope at drop-off.

Pick- Up Instructions

Pick- up for the Spring/Summer show will be Sunday May 17th at the Diboll Civic Center from 1pm-5pm.

Information to know at Pick-Up:

Know your consignor number. All items that are to be returned are sorted by consignor number.

If you send someone to pick up your items, please make sure they know your consignor number.

You will receive your check if your sales covered the facility fee.

You will receive the cards of the items that were sold.

You will receive a printout that shows the amount and price of the items that you sold. The total will be the sales less the consignor facility fee and less our percentage of the sales.

Safety/ Recall Information for Consignors

In August 2008, legislation was passed known as the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) in order to protect children ages 12 and under against the effects of lead in products such as clothing, accessories, furniture and toys. Implementation of this law is to go into effect Tuesday, February 10, 2009. The intention of the Law was to increase greater regulation for manufacturers and retailers and not the resale industry. We at Twice as Nice would never intentionally sell anything to the consumer that would harm anyone or would ever intentionally expose them or other children to the harmful effects of lead.
